the word said– for the love of money is the root of all evil,the love that man has for money causes much heartache pain and suffering,the love of it get into spirit of man and cause him to lose sight on God, for he, man long to get more and more, fear comes because he is afraid of loosing it,money..he must constantly think of ways to keep it and make more. thus loosing sight on the fact that”God can” which make him feel he can,and not God

The prosperity message has been the root of all evil, it has caused christians to seek from God, material things instead of spiritual things. The church has a lack of depth on operating in true power, but has mastered the art of munipulation. They have glorified a lesser teaching of Jesus, and disregarded the chief things of Jesus. She has plenty of bling but no power. We are told to seek first the Kingdom, but instead we seek first prosperity. I believe in prosperity, but in its propper context. Even Jesus said how hard it is for a rich man to enter into the Kingdom of heaven. Christians do not get hoodwinked by every teacher, but search and compare the scriptures as a whole.

The bible doesn’t say that money is the root of evil. It says that the “love” of money is the root of all evil. Love of anything in an idolatrous manner is sin.
